The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme combines funded graduate study at the University of Oxford with preparation for leadership. Eligibility criteria
The scheme targets applicants who could not otherwise afford to study at Oxford. You must:
- Apply for a new, eligible full-time graduate course and receive an offer.
- Be ordinarily resident in an eligible country.
- Plan to return to your country of ordinary residence after studying.
- Explain how your studies connect with career plans that improve public life nationally, regionally or internationally.
If you declared refugee or displaced status in your course application, an eligible nationality can satisfy the country criterion.
Holders of deferred offers for 2027–28 are excluded. Current Oxford students qualify only if already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars. Waitlisted applications and applications carried forward for reassessment against March applicants are also ineligible.
