About the role
GNDR is seeking to appoint a MEAL & Project Officer to support our global MEAL function alongside regional project implementation in Latin America and the Caribbean. This specialist role combines data management with hands-on project delivery.
In this role, you will split your time between two core workstreams:
- 60% of your capacity will be dedicated to our global MEAL framework, which includes providing technical measurement support to our Pacific CIRCLE project funded by the KIWA Initiative.
- 40% of your time will focus on coordinating day-to-day operations for our Pre-Evacuation Platform project in the Americas and Caribbean region.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual professional (English/Spanish), who is organised, analytical, and adept at multi-tasking, data collection, and stakeholder coordination.
We are looking for someone who possesses strong interpersonal and cross-cultural competence and has a deep commitment to locally led development, alongside inclusive and participatory practices.

Overall scope of the role & job description
As a member of the secretariat team, the MEAL & Project Officer provides essential tracking and operational support across our programmes, and acts as an internal specialist to help teams measure their impact and execute project activities smoothly.
Core responsibilities:
- Support GNDR’s 2026–2030 strategy MEAL framework
- Provide hands-on MEAL technical support to the Secretariat and partners
- Track KPIs, collaboration metrics, and member impact data
- Coordinate project activities
- Facilitate internal learning, document lessons learned, and maintain data libraries
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders and civil society organisations across target regions
Position in the organisation
- Functional reporting to the Head of FRIMCO and to the Regional Lead for A&C
- Close operational collaboration with the Regional Lead for Asia Pacific and Europe, Head of Programmes and KIWA Project Officer (30% KIWA project)
- Close collaboration with all Head of Units on global MEAL matters
- Part of the secretariat team and active participant in cross-team working groups
Salary and contract
This role is offered on a full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract basis.
We offer competitive salaries and benefits across all our locations and salaries are paid in local currency.
Location and eligibility
Remote. Exclusively opened to candidates based in based in Latin America and the Caribbean region.
Occasional regional and international travel may be required.
Start date
The ideal start date for this role is on or before July 2026. However, we recognise the constraints of notice periods and can offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
