About the Role
Seefar Foundation is seeking a highly motivated Head of Operations to join their dynamic team on a part-time basis.

This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational efficiency, compliance, and strategic growth within a global social enterprise.
Fee: EUR 3,000-4,000 for 50% FTE (equivalent of €6,000-8,000 full time).
Potential: Pathway to a full-time Senior Management Team position.
Supervises: Finance Officer and Human Resources Officer
Reports to: CEO
Travel: Optional travel for SMT meetings; role is 100% remote if preferred.
Technology Level: Level 3 – Adopter (embraces new tools and fosters a positive tech culture)
The successful candidate will supervise key operational staff, contribute to senior management planning, and support the organization’s mission from anywhere in the world.
Your Responsibilities
Core Processes (30%)
- Oversee an integrated management system ensuring flawless payroll and cashflow forecasting each month.
- Streamline processes through automation and systemization.
- Collaborate with project managers and area heads to anticipate resource needs.
- Own and actively manage the enterprise risk matrix.
Project and Entity Compliance (30%)
- Support finance, HR, and project teams in procurement and donor reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors and donor finance teams.
- Proactively plan to address potential issues and identify automation opportunities.
Strategy (20%)
- Contribute to senior management strategy, focusing on efficiencies, revenue maximization, and financial risk management.
- Support governance activities, including board meetings and audits.
- Lead the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operations Talent Management (10%)
- Provide professional guidance and pastoral support to finance and HR staff.
- Conduct weekly supervision sessions and identify additional resource needs.
Enterprise Talent Management (10%)
- Collaborate with HR to attract and develop high-performing team members.
- Foster team engagement and promote wellbeing initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate:
- Is fluent in spoken and written English, confident in chairing meetings and communicating clearly.
- Demonstrates active listening, logical reasoning, and influential communication skills.
- Embraces new technology, with at least Level 3 on the Seefar Technology Scale.
- Has experience in financial management and compliance, familiar with tools like Google Suite, Wrike, and Xero.
- Is organized, capable of turning goals into actionable workflows, and comfortable leading difficult conversations with integrity.
- Responds constructively to challenges and maintains a balanced perspective.
