Deadline Date: January 19, 2026
The L’Oréal Fund for Women is a global funding opportunity designed to support grassroots and non-profit organisations that work to empower women and girls facing vulnerability.
The Fund supports initiatives that promote access to education, social and professional integration, and the protection of women’s rights, with a strong focus on building resilience and creating sustainable, long-term impact. It is open to organisations addressing urgent social challenges affecting women and girls across diverse contexts worldwide.
The Fund has an international scope and can support organisations operating either in their country of registration or in other countries where they implement their activities. In line with its territorial priorities, preference is given to organisations whose headquarters are located within the European Union. Financial support may be requested for projects at different stages, including ideation, implementation or deployment, allowing organisations to strengthen existing work or develop innovative solutions to unmet needs. Your request cannot be less than €50,000 or exceed €250,000.
Eligible applicants must be non-profit or not-for-profit grassroots organisations working in the public interest and legally able to receive private philanthropic grants, supported by official statutes. Organisations must operate on a non-distribution basis, ensuring that income is not shared directly or indirectly with members. Applicants are expected to have more than two years of official existence, unless they can clearly demonstrate a strong and innovative approach that addresses a specific social need.
The Fund prioritises organisations that have direct, measurable impact, requiring applicants to support at least 200 beneficiaries per year. In addition, organisations must be authorised to issue tax receipts within France and the European Union. Through this call, the L’Oréal Fund for Women aims to strengthen community-led efforts that advance gender equality and improve the lives of women and girls by providing flexible financial support aligned with real-world needs and local expertise.
