Deadline Date: March 15, 2026
The Hansen Leadership Institute is pleased to announce its Scholarships to train future leaders from across the world in order to promote world peace and international cooperation.
The Hansen Leadership Institute provides comprehensive training in ethical and visionary leadership, communication and public speaking, while also incorporating gender-related leadership issues.
It also promotes international cooperation by fostering deep friendships among participants from conflict regions, helping them develop lifelong bonds and a shared commitment to peace.
The fully funded three-week program will take place from July 1 to July 22, 2026, bringing together young leaders from around the world to participate in leadership training, conflict resolution workshops, human rights discussions and cultural exchange.
Participants live and learn together in an intensive environment that strengthens communication skills, fosters cross-cultural understanding and builds lasting relationships.
The institute covers international airfare, accommodation, meals, and all program costs. Participants only need to cover passport expenses and personal spending. Attendance for the full duration of the program is mandatory, and no exceptions are made for late arrivals or early departures.
To be eligible, applicants must be between 20 and 25 years old on July 1, 2026. They must have completed at least one year of college or university by the time of application, or be recent graduates from 2024 or 2025.
International applicants are required to submit two references: one from an academic adviser or professor who can assess their English proficiency and another from an NGO or community organization they have worked with. The selection committee will begin reviewing applications in February, with results emailed in early March.
International applications close on January 15, 2026, by 11:30 PM Pacific Time, while U.S. applications are due by March 15, 2026, by the same time.
