Türkiye Scholarships 2026 is a fully funded, government-sponsored scholarship program offering international students the opportunity to study at leading universities in Türkiye while gaining academic, cultural, and global leadership experience. The program supports outstanding students and researchers at associate, bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and short-term levels, and is open to applicants from all countries. Applications for the 2026 cycle are accepted in a single window from 10 January to 20 February 2026 through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS).

- Monthly stipends:
- Undergraduate: 4,500 TL
- Master’s: 6,500 TL

Eligibility Requirements
- Open to citizens of all countries
- Minimum academic achievement:
- Associate & Bachelor’s: 70%
- Master’s & PhD: 75%
- Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): 90%
- Age limits:
- Undergraduate: under 21
- Master’s: under 30
- PhD: under 35
- Research: under 50
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents online via TBBS:
- Valid passport or national ID
- Recent photograph
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
- Academic transcripts
- National or international exam results (if applicable)
- Language proficiency certificates (if required by the program)
- Research proposal and writing sample (PhD applicants only)
Important Notes
- Many programs are taught in Turkish; some are offered in English or other languages
- Students without C1 Turkish proficiency must complete a one-year Turkish language course
- Students currently studying in Türkiye cannot apply for the same level of study
- Specialization in health sciences is not offered
- Short-term programs may have additional requirements
